FRUSTRATION!!!!!

GRRRR...... AAHHHH!!!!! Ok, I need spring break to come again. I can't not emphasize how frustrated I am with the USU - CEU Merger! There is no information! Nobody knows anything! What did Utah Legislation discuss in the meetings!? All I know is that I have been told that very little will change for this next year as this merger will take time to work all the kinks out..... except that USU Price will not have an Ambassador, and there will be no Tuition Waivers available to upper division USU student unless current CEU scholarships are made available, which no one knows if they will be or NOT! In the mean time all CEU student government positions are being fill as I write this, if they have not already, and I will tell you this: There is not one USU student in a leadership position for the next academic year. The fact remains I know this will take time to work out all of the bugs, but in the mean time current students are being left out! Everyone has said that this was going to be a discredit to CEU students well I will tell you this, it is the USU students that are going to be left leaderless and scholarshipless after many of us have work extremely hard to qualify for scholarships and waivers. Maybe I'm jumping the gun on this, an I may be the only one who feels this way but man-o-man I'm Frustrated!

My sickly kitty!

Ok, for those of you who do not know I have a huge bleeding heart when it comes to animals. I had a hard time this week because I had to take my cat Enyo to the vet. Ya see, a week ago she got in a spat with a stray cat that has been hanging around, and needless to say she got a little beat up and got a cut in her ear. I tried my best to keep it clean and get it healed up, but it didn't get any better, so finally decided to skip class and take her to get checked out..... it was a painful experience for both of us, and i know this probably sounds stupid but I had a taste of what a father would feel when he takes his daughter to the doctor and has to have some painful procedure done. I held my little black cat, and it is probably weird to say but she clung to me like a child and tried to hide under my chin. I felt so bad because I know that she was scared and the vet was hurting her, but it needed to be done. Two days later I am happy to say that the infection has gone away and she is getting better by the moment. It still sucks because I still have to force pills and medicine down her throat and in her ear, but she is getting healthy again! and that is what counts! So needless to say, sometimes you have to hurt the ones you love in order to help them, Anyway... moving on. My cat is healing, she is happy and I am happy!

Mid terms

Well there folks I survived another week, but this was a big one: midterms! And oh my god am I glad that they are over! This accomplishment will soon be rewarded with.... none other than...... guess..... yes that right!..... SPRING BREAK!!!!! Yeah, I have no plans for spring break other than working and not going to school! So here is breakdown of midterms! 2 days of not sleeping for more than 28 hours, then sleeping for 3 hours.... writing papers.... one 6 page paper and one 12 page paper..... those were the killers, everything else just kind of fell in line, but those two papers due on the same day hurt! Also, just so everyone knows, i passed all the tests required for the STEPS program, and I am now eagerly awaiting to see if i got in! If I get in, i will be done with school in a year and a half! and boy that will be a major event in my life..... for the past 4 or 5 years the routine of working 8-10 hours a day then going to school is getting old and is wearing me out. But in order to achieve this goal that means summer school.... yes, i hang my head and wish it wasn't so, but it is..... i have to take 6 credit hours of school, so not fun! but the classes should be fun.... one of them has the final of watching the Shakespearean festival in ceder city, so that should be cool! Well that just about sums up this weeks blog, I'm looking forward to thing regaining it's normalcy, and looking more forward to spring break! Later!
